Ant-Man's going to be a bomb. I can't believe it's actually been taken seriously.
I know right, the trailer looks awful doesn't it? Oh wait, there isn't one yet.
Well the pics they've released sure look stupid. Oh wait, there aren't any.
Fine, the on-set pics that have been taken of it being filmed look really bad I know... oh yeah, there aren't any of them either.

I love it when people make factual statements on here based on literally nothing. Ant-Man could be the worst movie ever made; it could be the best. Somehow I think I'll wait a little longer to decide which is closer.

Would it be....damaging somehow to Ant-Man if its release was delayed to say, November?

Greater competition, so yeah. Also, are we talking about delaying production, extending production, or sitting on the movie once completed? Each has its own problems, but they're different problems.

Delaying production might be the bigger problem, though, because they could lose the film production team to other projects.

Marvel adds a third date in 2018, swooping in on the date abandonded today by Sony for the now unscheduled Spider-Man 4.
Whatever you celebrate this time of year-- be it Christmas, Hanukah, Ramadan, Kwanza, the Solstice, Life Day, Durin's Day, Festivus or whatever, let it be happy, joyful and safe.
