Strictly speaking, I'm not new, but I have been away for a long time and used to go by another name (Captain Paranoyd) back in the day. Figured I'd check in and then get crackin'. I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do.

Re: The Official Welcome Thread

*waves* Hi! I'm Kolinahr, who first got into the fandom because of the reboot movies and is now working through TOS. I hope to enjoy all you lovely folks and have some good discussions. Sorry in advance for my very brief posts. I tend to use as few words as possible whenever I write something. No one word posts, though. Not unless the thread asks for it specifically.

Anyway, feel free to contact me on my other site if you want (it's my dA, so yeah). I love you all already

Re: The Official Welcome Thread

Another new member here... my username is talfe'anhar. I have been a trekker since the original series first aired. Which means I'm an old lady. I'm loving the rebooted films with just one exception, which I won't state here because I don't want to start an argument in my first post! Anyway, I'm happy to have found this forum.

Cadet here! Usually more of a lurker but thought I'd drop in and say hello Avid sci-fi/fantasy fan; canon, fanon, anything well-written. Grew up watching TNG on tv with my father and currently obsessed with the rebooted films and getting caught up with TOS. Found the Trek BBS by accident a few days ago and am very happy I have. LLAP!

Hello. New here. Hmm what else to say? Oh decided to call myself British Khan instead of Admiral Robocop. Also where would I find a discussion about the IDW Star Trek comics?

Welcome! There's an active thread about the comics in the Trek Literature (novels, comics etc), here.

Hello. New member. Scifi fan. Introduced to Star Trek through my parents showing me episodes of TNG. Really like the new films and what J.J.'s done with them. Found Trekbbs couple of days ago and decided to make an account.

Howyiz! Uhurock here. New to the board but not to Trek. Been a fan since my eleventh year on earth. Like NimoySpock and QuintoSpock equally well; like PineKirk much better than ShatKirk [sorry, Shat]; love my McCoys and Uhuras equally and love that Nuhura has more to do now. Been in the real actual military which ain't Starfleet, but was in the closest thing to an earth equivalent. You may have seen me over at TrekMovie under another name.

Re: The Official Welcome Thread

To celebrate his recent appointment as director of the next Trek movie in 2016. The real King Daniel is far more handsome.

(honest)
