Album Cover: The Next Generation

With Zion Ravescene's blessing, I've decided to get another album cover thread going, since I bloody love them so much. (Past versions can be found here and here and here and even here.) Anyhoo, here are the rules according to him:

Zion Ravescene wrote: View Post
1) Go to Wikipedia and select a random page, or use this link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The title (ignoring any disambiguation suffixes) of the first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2) Get a random quotation from this page (NB it may produce pop-up ads)
http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quotation of the page is the title of your first album.

3) Go to flickr and click on "explore the last seven days" as per below:
http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The THIRD picture along, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

The last time we had this thread, Australis also suggested a fourth rule: a random name generator for song titles.
http://watchout4snakes.com/Creativit...domPhrase.aspx

Put them together (optionally via your favourite image manipulator software of choice) and you then have your own album cover!
Me, since I have not Photoshop nor the ability to use it, I will (for my own entry) post a link to the cover image, not the image itself.

Anyhoo, here it goes.

East End of Rundle - "Everyone Gives To Their Mistakes".

Songs:

Habitual Substandard Reveller
Queasy Protective Radioactivity
Courageous Versed Chastening
Choosier Grubbier Avocado
Dulled Smitten Jell
Digestive Inkier Annexation
Marred Discontented Ellipsis
Drowsing Gilt Grasshopper
Harrowing Zigzag Maturity
Haired Discredited Frosting
Snouted Queenly Rotor
Kindled Saleable Backlash

Some sort of bizarre electropop/folk mishmash, although the 4th and 10th tracks are directly attributable to the lunch eaten by the group's primary lyricist/janitor.

3. Adamant Gadget Muckraking
4. Draftier Mussel
5. Marred Coronary Imploding
6. Crippled Pedagogy

8. Towering Concoction

I'm thinking it's something like Yanni after a severe mental break? Too lazy to generate song titles, but I do enjoy the graphic part.

I don't use flickr. I use photobucket. How do I save the picture? Is there another way for me to get random pictures and still do this game? Flicker is a pain.

Did you go to the link? Does it let you see the random photos if you're not a flickr member?

yes. to both questions. However I can't save the photos or use them at all. in fact, eventually my computer will freeze up.

Re: Album Cover: The Next Generation

Some can't be saved quickly because the uploader has disabled downloads of their work.

Photobucket has a random generator, you can try that.

Indeed, that's going to be hard to top!

I like that one. I feel like it'd be something slow and relaxing.

Random_Spock:
I love "Triangular Shellfish" and "Shiftiest Dungeon"

Anyway, here is mine - I found the combination of image and album title that I got to be pretty amusing:

Track list!
  1. Invite
  2. Tinned Decisively
  3. Spookier Mayhem
  4. Nigh Semester
  5. Veteran Parakeet
  6. Monumental Punting
  7. Reciprocal Waiver
  8. Breakable
  9. Valuable Nonfiction
Good ol' random word generator.

Hmm... I think my group is instrumental electronic. The actual meaning of the name makes me think that, as well as the completely nonsensical track titles.
