Maya Rendering Question

I'm just starting out in trying to create a Starship in Maya. I can't find any video tutorials pertaining to Starships and wondered if you guys could point me in the right direction?
Couldn't find an answer in the threads so hope it's okay to have started this one.

start over at scifi-meshes.com and work your way out from there, foundation3d.com would be next. These are very scifi-heavy (ready mainly star trek, star wars and stargate) based 3d modelling sites, mix of maya and others, but I guarantee you'll find the help you need there.
