The Undiscovered Country. I have to say, Christopher Plummer makes such a great villain in that movie.

TOS: Amok Time (remastered)

During my recent absence from here, I found the remastered sets of seasons 1 and 2. They're "previously owned", which is a euphemism for "used", but I'd been without most of the episodes for 20 years, so it was worth it.

One of the best Trek movie villains for sure. He's no Khan or Borg Queen but Christopher Plummer endows General Chang with a sophisticated malevolence and danger that makes you believe he's more than a match for James T. Kirk.

A role made all the better by the fact that Plummer loved playing it and came back years later to reprise it for a video game. He chewed the scenery and was hungry for more.

"Sophisticated malevolence" is the perfect way to put it!

I haven't watched much trek since the season 5 STNG bluray, but I watched The chase, The Price, Tin Man and ST:Nemesis in the last few days.
