Schisms was disturbing, even more so when it was a mystery at first.

The exploding head in Conspiracy creeped me out the first time I saw it.

The holodeck scene in Schisms is also pretty creepy. "I've been in this room before..."

Inspired by the working on TNG thread I rewatched Q Who? and have to say that still creeps me out. I think it's that whole alien thing, they don't care who you are, aren't driven by any passions or whatever, they can't be appealed or distracted. I know later Borg episodes contradict that in some ways but in this first meeting anyway they are pretty terrifying.

Probably 'Night Terrors', at least it did freak me out at the time when I first watched it. Now it doesn't really have an effect. Love the episode though.

"Where No One Has Gone Before"

The Traveller's lusting after Wesley so openly was obscene and had me completely creeped out.

I'm surpprised no-one has brought up Where Silence Has Lease yet. I always found that to be a creepy episode. Trapped in the void, on an impossible recreation of the Yamato, Worf losing his mind, auto-destruct and creepy music.

I never found any of the episodes scary, however the scene in Night Terrors where all the corpses are sitting up was pretty creepy. The whole alien abduction angle in Schisms was pretty creepy too.

There is very little in any Star Trek show or movie that could scare anyone.

I always found Phantasms to be one of the most hilarious episodes of Trek - and not for the right reasons.

Agreed on both. Then again, I was pretty young when the episodes first aired.

Say what you will about the episode, but this is a disturbing image: http://tng.trekcore.com/hd/albums/1x...vil_hd_302.jpg
