Black Flag's early island exploring felt more like Far Cry to me, yet also AC-ish... but what the fuck happened to the eagle-scream when you take a leap of faith!?
It was removed by Abstergo in Animus v4.0, along with the 3D support.

Actual serious answer:

it's there, although slightly muted on the ps4... But I'm past the point where I've met and am helping the assassins.

I'm playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Freedom Cry right now. It's got an interesting story and I like Adewale just fine, but the freeing slaves activities get a little repetitive and I don't know if I like how that's tied into the upgrade system.

It goes quicker than you think. If you raid all the plantations (to get the viewpoints), and capture 1 or 2 slave ships, that's at least 350 of the 500 right there.

Diablo III on PS3.

Also tempted to try out SWTOR for the first time. I know this game got a very mixed reception - any thoughts on whether it's worth trying?
Late reply but : It a very interesting leveling experience, lots of things to do at the start. Most of the complaints are about the endgame, especially ranked PVP and high end raids.
If you just want to get a taste, the download is totally worth it.

I'm playing Knack at the minute. Yahtzee says it best.

Been giving Shadow Warrior (2013) a go. It's a bit linear so far, but it's been fun. I've barely used the ranged weaponry though.

I'm also in the mood to reinstall one of the Wolfenstein series. I haven't got around to finishing the 09 one yet, so it'll probably be that one.

Well I'm still playing Knack but only really to get my money's worth out of it and it's bugged me enough that I decided to write a review of it.

Re: What games are you playing currently?

The shame of it is it isn't a really terrible game, if it'd been a tenner indie title I'd have said fair enough, it's got it's shortcomings but for a tenner I could see past it, but for a 50 quid game it's just not good enough.
