I think it's a word Chak would use. He gets all formal and chivalrous when talking about his feelings.

Yet, he was bangin' hoes like Seska & Tessa.
No, I'm thinking Chuckles wasn't "chivalrous" in the bedroom.

A lot of people hope so exodus, seeing as how there isn't much else interesting to say about him.

Tessa was beautiful, but there's a 40 percent chance that she was Captain Braxton in disguise. A 50 percent chance that she was a beautiful crewman from the Relativity reporting to Braxton, and a 10 percent chance that she's just some Voyager groupie with Daddy issues.

All of those make more sense than Tessa devoting years of her life to erase her life.

She calls herself Kathryn in Deadlock when she's speaking to other Janeway. I'm guessing she's pretty intimate with herself, so that's probably the name she prefers.

Re: What Name did Captain Janeway’s Friends and Family Call Her?

There's two types of people in the universe.

1. When they see a identical duplicate of themselves they want to kill it.

2. When they see a identical duplicate of themselves they want to frakk it.

Yes, yes, Will didn't seem to frakk or kill Tom, but what you're forgetting is that his stomach was already turned from killing a duplicate in up the long ladder and chose to steer Deanna's vagina at his doppelgänger instead.

Picard killed himself in Time Squared, and Shinzon tried to Kill Picard in the final awful movie.

These examples go on forever.

Animals have a fight or flight instinct, and civilized beings have a fight or fuck instinct.

God bless the world.

My younger sister's name is Cathryn. Almost everyone calls her Cathryn except my older sister and I - we call her Cathy. Sometimes I'll call her Katya just for fun!

Re: What Name did Captain Janeway’s Friends and Family Call Her?

One of the first things Kathryn did on Voyager was deballing Harry for calling her by a name she was uncomfortable with.

There was a directly proportionate relationship between her comfort and everyone else's comfort.

Isn't that why captains have ready rooms, to keep them out of the way and comfy?

Re: What Name did Captain Janeway’s Friends and Family Call Her?

In the episode "Persistence of Vision" hallucination Mark (in the turbolift) called Janeway "Kath." Now I know he wasn't real, but it would seem the alien got the info used to create the "scenarios" from the victims' minds, so that would seem to mean KJ had memories in her mind of Mark calling her that particular nickname.

Re: What Name did Captain Janeway’s Friends and Family Call Her?

Well Chakotay was "just" her friend (and subordinate) in the series, lol, so still keeps w/ Kathryn in TET. Altho in my mind I can imagine maybe Chak (now that they're "together") in the books once in awhile calling her "Kate," heh.
