And dawwww.... little non-canon deleted Spock I love him too!

I wonder if that was a real baby.

Imagine if you could grow up and say, "I played Spock in a Star Trek movie".

I never ever thought of Kirk as being a father figure to Spock. That's an interesting but unusual interpretation.
It makes sense for Spock to be more emotional than other Vulcans since he is half human.
CommishSleer I love your avatar! Servalan is so awesome.
I wish we could have some baddass villainess in Star Trek who is prepared to use men for her evil purposes and then toss them aside when she's used them all up like Servalan.

Lets hope she's in the new interpretation of Blake's 7.

Really I love all Spocks.

Except maybe that scrawny teenage one in The Search for Spock.
The young boy Spock in ST09 was sooooo cute

Re: Quinto's Spock is too emotional

Yes he was. He looked like young Spock to me, unlike young Kirk who I thought looked terrible.

I read that the new B7 remake wasn't happening after all. Have you heard any of the B7 new audio plays and dramatic readings Big Finish is doing with the original cast? They're really good, and Servalan gets a more evil moment than ever in a recent one.
The baby looks real to me.
A seductive Romulan commander who tries to steal Spock away from Kirk, I mean Uhura, could be a lot of fun. I'd make her be a sexy older woman, and she could be part of a story with the Romulans. Maybe the Romulans want to integrate the surviving Vulcans into their race.

Remember the first Christopher Reeve Superman film? Little Kal-El steps out of the crater from his spaceship and displays full frontal nudity. Everyone in the world has seen his dingus. He has to live with that.

It is a little weird that they did that, with the naked toddler. Couldn't he have little shorts on? I guess it wouldn't have been realistic since he aged during flight. I'd have been fine with him being in suspended animation so he wouldn't age and he could wear a little jumpsuit.

That sounds like a wonderful idea.

Can I be one of those men?

Oh no I've been waiting patiently for Blake's 7 to happen and now you say I get nothing
Original cast recordings sound good to me I'll look them up Thanks.

A new
Romulan Commander sounds great to me but we all know that Spock would never betray the Federation but would nuSpock?

Re: Quinto's Spock is too emotional

What always gets to me about that TOS ep is that so little is said and yet Spock's attraction and temptation with the Romulan commander is very clear. I'd love to see it played that way again, ambiguous and understated.

Probably won't get that. More likely to be humping in the turbolift.

That would depend on how often nuUhura is going to continue bitching at him for the decisions he makes while simultaneously telling her own Captain to shut up while she bitches at her boyfriend, all the while on duty.

NuSpock might actually prefer to take a break from all that...

Re: Quinto's Spock is too emotional

No I don't think Quinto's Spock is all that emotional. the only reason you think he is , is because you are watching a 2 hour film where the writers feel the need to show his human and Vulcan side. it is not right to compare it to a TV show of 22 episodes where the writers can make him act vulcan for 17 episodes and human in 5 episodes.

Time is not on their side and Spock's character has to be as 3 dimensional as possible which mean he has to act both vulcan and human.

Re: Quinto's Spock is too emotional

Eh, the only thing I didn't like about NuSpock's emotions was in the 09 movie where he went berserk every time someone trotted out a yo mama joke. Beyond that... I always thought Spock... Nimoy or Quinto... was just plain overrated. Logical smart person, with the whole fish out of water perspective on humanity, but overall rather bland. The McCoy/Spock arguments were nice though.
