I just got finished watching all 7 seasons of Voyager. Now I am a BIG original fan and that can never be replaced. But when I watched Voyager to me it was the apex of what the Next Generation and Deep Space Nine was building up to. Janeway is not my favorite Captain, but I have no reason to talk bad about her.

The story lines and crew developed into so much a stronger to the "star trek" theme. I don't think they get the credit they deserve.

What do you think?
I think Voyager is a fun show, and benefits by having some of that TOS fun and adventure which is sorely absent from TNG and DS9.

It would be my second favourite after the original if it weren't for Enterprise's fantastic third season and good fourth. Right now it's a toss-up depending on which day of the week it is.
While TNG got a little stiff and sterile at times, DS9 had its share of fun: Dabo girls, Quark's bar, Morn, Ferengi and some seriously dark humour at times. Don't forget Par'mach as well...

"Stiff and sterile," indeed. TNG is the most satisfying of the STAR TREK series!

5545 x 3827 pixels?

Could you resize that please? It's more than twice the size of my screen resolution.

Maybe to some. I rank it the lowest.

And yeah Ln X DS9 which is sometimes portrayed as mostly gritty and political is FULL of fun. Very playful, Julian and the Ferengi.. great the way they wove the Ferengi differences from humans into so many episodes.

That still leaves 70 episodes that don't fit those criteria.
The other seventy are okay.

TNG is the one that means the most to me, DS9 is the one that's most fun to come back to.

It reset the standard without a doubt.
I think the attitude of both shows should be different. The work ethic on board the Federation flagship isn't going to be the same as on board a busted up space station that's for trade and commerce. Comparing TNG to DS9 is like comparing the House of Windsor to the Bunny Ranch in Las Vegas.

I reckon both voyager and enterprise concepts were good, but once they were on air those concepts were quickly forgotten about and they ended up with the episodes we got.

Enerprise got back on track by the end.

Many of the season one characters showed up to sign up to the F... Oh wait. They cocked that up.

I have the DVDs in their entirety for every show and movie produced in this franchise so far. But my order of preference would be:

TOS
DS9
TNG
VOY
ENT
TAS

The Dude's pj's were appropriately disheveled and full of Kahlua stains.

IOW, they were cool.
