For NIGHTHAWKS fans: Nigel Davenport

Some of you likely already know that British actor Nigel Davenport passed away about two weeks ago. His body of work is large and varied, though US audiences probably remember him best for 1981's NIGHTHAWKS, which starred Sylvester Stallone. Even though they were on the same side, and both protagonists, Davenport's character told off Stallone for virtually five straight minutes, a feat probably unequalled before or since. But he got away with it. They were even on good terms seconds before Lt. Ilia blew Davenport away on an escalator. But his last word in the film told Stallone who did it: Shakka!
