Poll question:
Which Captain would you follow?

Answers so far:
Archer
Kirk
Sulu
NuKirk
Picard
Sisko
Janeway
Are Generals the same as Captains when it comes to the Military? If so Martok and Sran are in or should I re-word the question to include them?

Edit: Googled it and Generals would be ranked 3 levels above a Captain if Captains were military. I'll title it "Star Trek leaders you would follow". Also ading Pike

Taggart.

...

What do you mean that's not Trek? Okay, seriously, though. Jellico. That guy was badass.

...

Okay, SRSLY, though, I know he only appeared in the first pilot and its later adaptation, but it's probably good form to include Pike, n'est-ce pas? (I would also have said Rachel Garrett of the Enterprise-C, but we only get to see her for like ten minutes of screen time if that before the writers whack her.)

From the tech poll:

Don't those things always malfunction and attack you and hijack your ship and such? I figure TNG is mostly a technological cautionary tale: "The holodeck. Invent it... and look what happens."

^Jellico isn't a bad addition. People may want a more strict captain. Also adding Kira, she's a major.

Any more Leaders that should be on the list? I'm hesitant on adding Ransom. Should I put the questionable Captains as well?

Re: A polled thread about thread polls.

I wouldn't include Captains who mostly functioned as antagonists myself. That's a slippery slope, next thing you have to include Ron Tracy.

Duras, his grandfather, his sisters and his bastard boy all come to mind. Not to mention General Chang.

I think the only people missing from the Captains list at this point are those we're just told are good without actually seeing anything. Like whatsherface the Youngest Captain Ever from "Conspiracy" in TNG who is never heard from again.

Edit: I made a mistake posting the Top Star Trek Villain thread and PM'ed a Moderator to delete it. Of course, people pointed out who I missed there (I guess this thread won't work if people don't open it)
