Sadly, yes. And in a disturbingly quick amount of time.

Nice to see Crewman Cutler from ENT in there. The late Kellie Waymire deserved more attention and screen time than she got.

It's missing that short-haired extra from TNG. She had more accumulated screen-time than half the women on there.
IIRC she's also in Generations and possibly First Contact.
She is.

Might even be in Insurrection.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Who is the one on the far right? And isn't that Ro Laren to the right of Guinan?

That's what I have.

I have that gal on the right as Seska.

I knocked them out pretty quickly too

Couldn't agree more about Kellie. She had a great screen presence. So sad.

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

I could be mistaken, but ENT at the end of the Delphic Expanse mission listed Cutler as one of the 27 Enterprise crewmembers who were killed during the hunt for the Xindi weapon. If so, they managed to write her character out of the show as a casualty on a heroic mission to save Earth so at least her character didn't just disappear without ever being mentioned again.

I don't know, I'm assuming you're a big ENT fan because of the T'Pol avatar....do you recall if Cutler was mentioned as one of the Delphic Expanse casualties?

Yup, guilty as charged. I love Enterprise and T'Pol's my favorite character.

To the best of my knowledge she was not listed as a casualty in the DE. That would have been nice. Maybe they could have mentioned her in The Forgotten or something like that.

As it was, she was only mentioned once after season 2. Phlox said she broke her arm when the ship encountered one of those spacial anomalies in Rajiin.

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

Ah, okay. Thanks for that clarification. I kept thinking that they mentioned her as one of the Expanse fatalities during the course of their mission. I suppose her character's fate could always be retconned into the Xindi mission but I wish they'd mentioned her more often onscreen.

Kellie was a talented and appealing young actress with a bright future ahead and Cutler was a supporting character with potential.

Agree. She's one of the few TV actors that just lit the screen up when she acted. I never got the impression she was acting, which is the highest praise I can give to someone in that business.

She is, which is one of the several errors in the new "Choice of Futures" novel (among other offensive and unpleasant things). They have Cutler not only alive but serving on Endeavour with T'pol, forgetting she was dead and Trip had spent time mourning her.

Please provide canon reference.

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

Here's part of the current Memory Alpha Wiki entry on Crewman Cutler and the character's fate:

It is not known whether the character of Crewman Cutler was to have appeared in later episodes, as she did not appear in any episodes of the series' second season, although Cutler was mentioned in an episode in Enterprise's third season. Kellie Waymire had hoped to return to the part after the first season. Shortly following that season, she commented, "I don't want her just to be the nurse that shows up in Sickbay and gets things for Phlox. I hope we get to do something kooky and interesting [....] A lot of it depends on what they write for me, but they might write to the decisions I make for the character [....] I think the writers do pay attention to what I do, and the stories they write will show my character developing." With a laugh, she concluded, "I don't think they'll kill me off, but you never say never." (Star Trek: Communicator issue 139, p. 43) The writing staff of Enterprise had, at one point, discussed acknowledging the actress' death during the third season. Noted executive producer Rick Berman, "We had hoped that Kellie would come back as well."
If this entry isn't in error, then I guess I was wrong about Cutler being mentioned as a Xindi mission casualty. She simply drifted off into the ether of the greater ENT storyline and was never mentioned again.

Kellie Waymire died exactly 10 years ago this month.
