This.
You have simple solutions in technology that was invented 17 or 18 thousand years ago.
A walrus hide and a rock?

I think you're over estimating what people were capable of in 16,000 B.C.

Yeah, one would think they would have Rick's gang find somewhere else to live, instead of being on farms and prisons close to major highways where so many people seemed to have met their end. In other words, armies of walkers are always nearby, so there's no end to the danger.

Cades Cove , TN. That place is hidden like the vale of Rivendell. It was a farming settlement, natural protection with the mountains, and not too far for them to reasonably make it to.

In that case you're still about half a millennium off.

It is a good thought though. If it can work for sharks it can certainly work for zombies.

I don't like what Rick did there. I hope we see her again.

Okay, where will this go?

Rick vs. Daryl?

You know who hooks up with the Governor (and/or the new threat) and using knowledge of the prison's situation, returns to settle matters--whatever direction that takes?

Everyone else turns against Rick--with the exception of Carl, and they go off on their own?

If the group goes in different directions, they all come together when the new threat is close to finishing the survivors off?

Unknown.
They waited for him but he never came back.
No sign of him where the girl was found.

Re: The Walking Dead Season 4

Well, that was certainly interesting.

Wonder what Rick will say to Daryl when they get back to the prison. I'm guessing that Daryl *might* understand if Rick tells the group that Carol was the one who killed Karen and the other one.

Actually sad to see the two they found in the house not make it they seemed like they'd be an interesting addition to the group.

Wonder if/when we see Carol again? And is Rick stepping back up to leader?

Tyrese is off the rails, man! And I don't get the "bloody eyes" walkers in the veterinary school. The blood eyes walkers died from whatever the "illness" is, but walkers in the school had to have been there since the ZA began (unless there just happened to be a dozen or so people together at the school who died of the illness recently.)

Anyway, good episode interesting to see where it goes from here.

It stands to reason some people closer to the school were sick and had the same idea Herschel had, except they died in the school. If their group was smaller or more were infected, they might have risked going out while sick to try to get something to cure themselves.

Skin eaters I think we'll have this be an ongoing gag for many episodes to come, but never zombies, ghouls, or undead. What names have we heard besides Walkers? The Gov. called them biters. Daryl & Merle called them geeks. What else? Didn't someone this season call them de-cays?

What are some they haven't used yet?

Rotters
Wasters
Stalkers
Flatliners
Grunts
Goons
Deadheads
Meatheads

I would die of utter happiness to see them in Cades Cove, since that's just 20 miles from me (30 by car). Plus the scenery is perfect, there's almost no modern development, and I'm sure the National Park wouldn't at all mind the (further) increased tourism if they decided to film there....

Never gonna happen I'm sure, but it can't hurt to dream.

I thought that was a great (albeit probably temporary?) resolution myself. Excellent episode, and I'd be perfectly content if we never saw that character again.

How the hell did Ana's calf end up so far from her body? It looked like she was carrying her fruit basket, dropped it when she was chased, and they caught her. But her leg was so far away! She couldn't have gotten far without it. Did the walkers throw it? Did they drag her away? Neither is plausible, as walkers aren't picky about what they eat and wouldn't throw anything anyway. Why would they drag her after catching her? They wouldn't. So...how did her leg end up so far from the rest of her?
