William Windom was a last-minute replacement, though, for a flaked out John Drew Barrymore. He not only wasn't the first choice, he only got the role because the original didn't show up for work.

^No, Robert Brown was a last-minute replacement for John Drew Barrymore as Lazarus in "The Alternative Factor."

Maybe what you're thinking of is that Norman Spinrad wrote the role of Decker with Robert Ryan in mind but Ryan was unavailable.

Does the Mugato count? He was in the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea episode Deadly Cargo!

Re: Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Just watched an Adam 12 on Netflix through my Roku player, and the guests were:

William Campbell
Vic Perrin
and Johnny Haymer (from AOY)

I have the Roku 3, which has a USB plug - if I only knew how to get screen captures!

I believe you are correct. I got the names mixed up. Probably because of the whole Barrymore thing.

Two for One sale in Adventures of Superman: Czar of the Underworld.

Anthony Caruso strikes a familiar pose as a crimelord.

Good news: the last of my Hawaii Five-O shots!
Wish I'd thought of doing the captions earlier, they were fun to do!

And sadly no Trek alumni in this week's Mannix.

One for EnsignHarper, as he and I seem to be the only Adam-12 viewers here!

Me-TV is running and episode of Ironside right now guest-starring both Warren Stevens and Diana Muldaur.

This thread has been going on so long...did anyone ever mention that Diana Muldaur played David Banner's sister on The Incredible Hulk?

Muldaur also appeared in another Hulk episode as a different character, a nun (though I believe she was a mother rather than another "sister").
