As a kid, The Smokey and the Bandit and the Cannonball Run were very much staples of my house. I love those films. I think a big thing about them is the gag reel, included as part of the end credits.

Also notable is that there are scenes in the Cannonball Run that are funnier because they actually happened when Needham did the Cannonball.
