I would hope that anyone, even the most rabid Bay-movie-hater, would be against such violence. You can hate a director's work, but no sane person would want that director to be attacked and beaten just because you don't like him.
Dane Cook is still fair game though, right? Asking for a friend...

He should make a movie about making movies in HK

"He didn't like my answer, so an hour later he came by my crew as we were shooting, carrying a long air conditioner unit. He walked right up to me and tried to smack my face, but I ducked, threw the air unit on the floor and pushed him away. That's when the security jumped on him. But it took seven big guys to subdue him. It was like a zombie in Brad Pitt's movie "World War Z" - he lifted seven guys up and tried to bite them. He actually bit into one of the guards Nike shoe! Insane. [...] Then it took fifteen Hong Kong cops in riot gear to deal with these punks. In all, four guys were arrested for assaulting the officers."

Upon watching a play which had a live baby elephant with a walk-on part, where it managed to shit copiously across the stage, a wit observed "disgusting manners, but what a critic!"

I will officially state my position as being AGAINST random violence directed at Michael Bay.

You have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much faith in humanity.

Of course we Star Trek fans should hold ourselves to a higher standard.
