Thanks guys.
You have my sympathies too. I still remember when my mom died. I went through the same thing you are. It was ten years ago, but that's the kind of thing you NEVER forget, plus, we were particularly close. It will get easier to live with though, so hang in there.

And OT: I'm currently reading the paperback of Christopher's ONLY SUPERHUMAN, as well as Dayton Wards' Star Trek book FROM HISTORY'S SHADOW.

Both excellent reads.

I enjoyed going back to books and shows my dad liked after he died. I re-watched 'Yankee-Doodle Dandy', one of his favorites, it was like having him back a little. I hope things feel better soon.

Well... after watching the first run of Star Trek in these parts, back in the day, dad went the way of fantasy and I choose the path of SciFi... but we'll always have Trek

Haven't read anything since my last post.

There's also a great little app I find useful: JA Sensei. Has speech recognition, interactive tests, etc.

I'm reading the Chet and Bernie series by Spencer Quinn. Lighthearted mystery books about a PI and his canine partner, as told by the dog.

I'm reading Thunder of Heaven (an End of Days book) by Tim Lahaye. It's the second book in the series. I have the first three and the fourth book on pre-order.

I finally bought Nimoy's "I am not spock" and "I am spock," so I'm starting with "I am not Spock."

I finished Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman a couple of days ago and I have started on The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. I expected to enjoy it, but I'm really not. I'm about halfway through and keep not picking it back up...

Well, I'll get to it eventually. I have a great big stack of books I haven't read yet, but decided to read those two first. Now I want to start that one just to see what you're talking about, though. ^_^

Re: What are you reading?

Finished a Clash of Kings and now reading A Storm of Swords. I am really enjoying going back and reading the books after watching the television show. The books are always better, and I do know the show does split off from the story line in the books so will see how it goes with the books
