I like it. And I always liked RTD's theme version better than SM's (especially the latest ones).

Yes, she's begun going by that name recently. That's how she's officially billed in all the press releases for the new season.

Technically it's very good, and I like the bit where Capaldi shows up on the watch, but overall it doesn't do much for me. I hate the whole clock theme, it annoyed me in the TVM and annoys me here. It needs to be the vortex.

I rather liked it, though I would prefer seeing more of a melding of the clock gears with the time vortex. The mashup of Moffat and Davies era themes was quite enjoyable. Well done, especially for a fan creation.

I like the concept, but let's replace the gears/clock motif with a bunch of gaudy question marks. Nothing says mysterious like a question mark?

Yeah I posted that earlier in the thread. He's very talented but he has a penchant for making things too busy. If he did away with the asteroid belt and toned down the explosions it would be more to my taste. But he's still the best animator for these opening themes that I've seen so far. I hope his work gets noticed by someone that matters.

I don't know about youtube but his spoons were included in a theme arrangement released on CD in 1994 or so.

I bet he's a bit annoyed that this new guy has been noticed so easily!

Interesting, I guess I'm behind the curve, wouldn't have expected that change in billing.

It threw me, too, as I had gotten used to writing JLC. I wonder what the reason behind the change was, though Plenty of actresses have 3 names and they are instantly identifiable, so it must've just been a personal choice and not a "career" one.

Ah well. It's shorter and sweeter. Like Clara.
