Wow, congrats on the offpsring-to-be. It's amazing what they can do with natal imaging.

Yes, the pics are so clear, so much better than 15 years ago. Congratulations!

Re: PICTURE POST II!

That Avro Arrow is a replica, as someone already commented. The only one in existence, as I understand. Beautiful, though, and really big! Someone in the Arrow team was talking to my coworkers and I for a good twenty minutes about the replica project. Looks like it's destined for a hanger at Pearson for a while.

TorontoTrekker, my company was just an exhibitor, and had nothing to do with the Arrow. We were lucky, though, because our booth was maybe a couple hundred feet from her. And we left through the Arrow tent every day.

How about Albert?

No kidding! I remember looking at one of my friend's pics and smiling while I let on that I could actually see something. These are amazing.

Congratulations on your spawn Mari! (Is it twisted that I like the nic-name "Spawn" so much better than "Sweetpea"? )

Thanks all. My best friend called hers spawn as well, so that's probably where I got it from. We're all a bunch of nerds who are still surprised we're married, never mind creating little nerdlets.

I'm thrilled the doctor was willing to give me that one 3D shot, as generally they don't do them here unless you're high risk. I can vaguely remember back in 1985 hearing my youngest sister's heartbeat at one of Mom's ultrasounds, but couldn't figure out a thing on the tiny B&W monitor. I go to that same practice now, and they've got a giant full color flatscreen on the wall and the 3D thing.

I showed my son his sonogram picture after he had started school. I told him it was his larval stage.

I don't know if parents were offered and allowed to take home sonagram pictures of their babies when my mom was pregnant with me (1974). I don't think sonagram images became popular with parents until I was much older, at least I don't remember seeing them become common until then.

Congratulations mari! That's great news!

I joined a rec league with my soccer-playing brother-in-law. Last time I bought cleats, you couldn't find anything but black and/or white.

I shall post a picture for my 500th post. Albeit somewhat low quality due to the 3DS camera

Amazing news, congratulations mari! Best of luck!

Alas, all I have to offer this thread is today's lunch. I don't take many photos.

Congratulations on the spawn, Mari!

Yesterday I got the addition of a fibonacci spiral to my tattoo (as well as extending the overall design slightly further down my arm because it stopped too abruptly before). It looks great, but man, that's a tender spot!
