A picture that has much meaning. My big brother Christopher at Pride Parade, age 16. He died only a few months later, from type 1 diabetes, hypoglycemia.

Next up, a picture of great joy.

Re: Photo hunt

RevdKathy was running off to work but said as I was the subject of the last picture I should choose the subject of the next. I haven't been following the thread so forgive me if I pick one that's already been done.

Lets go with a favourite pastime.

Will this do?

How about views that tell you you're nearly home.

I took this picture today. I walk home over the Williamsburg Bridge every day, and this is some of my favorite graffiti. While home is still technically another 45 minute walk from this spot, this is the point right about when you enter Brooklyn, which is home:

Next, something in a line or row.

A row of old cars for sale in the desert

Next, something you would find in a park or in a street scene.

Re: Photo hunt

I took these pictures of my nephew at the wading pool in Lincoln Park in Seattle this July. I couldn't decide which was cutest, so here are both:

I wish I'd caught a picture of him "snorkeling." At its deepest, the pool is maybe a 1.5 feet, so the little guy would get down on his knees and elbows and stick his face under the water and crawl around so that all you could see above the surface was his little butt and the snorkel!

Next, something shiny!
