Star Trek Into Darkness

Twice. Once yesterday and once today. It is one fantastically fun movie.

Same here. I watched it earlier. It has its flaws and "meh" moments, but overall it's a pretty fun, thrilling and rollicking adventure.

I think the you can tell where they switched gears as far as the villain is concerned and that causes the film to have some rough edges that otherwise wouldn't be there.

I think that's pretty much my feeling about the film. It was good for the most part but when they switched villains and went from there my response was a bit of befuddlement. A great movie turned into a pretty good or average movie and it could have been so much more.

My new DVD copy of Into Darkness, which was a MUCH more enjoyable experience than when I saw it in the theater last May.

I watched "The Measure of a Man" last night. Chose it to introduce a friend to TNG. He'd actually never watched any Star Trek before.

A pretty good episode to use to introduce someone to TNG/Modern Trek. Which version did you show him?
