Oh, I wanted Connor and Damian, too. I'm just a huge fan of Giffen and DeMatteis's Justice League International run, and my JLI would just not be complete with out Ice. Fire is this month's figure, and it would be awful to have her but not her partner.

My local TRU had another 6” Sandtrooper on the shelf earlier today but I was a little short at that moment (*snicker*) and couldn't pick up an extra one. I want a couple more but it'll have to wait.

Best figure in his debut wave.

On that note, may I register my disappointment that the necks are not compatible between Luke and the Sandtrooper? We could have had an easy Stormtrooper disguise Luke once the clean version comes out.

Re: The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

I'm sure some industrious collectors with access to customizing equipment have already altered these figures so you can actually swap heads, but yeah - I totally agree.

I imagine once the ANH Han and the plain white Stormtrooper come out the same will happen.

The Ice figure looked fantastic as well.

For those interested, the big 31” Darth Vader with seven points of articulation (Jakks Pacific) is starting to show up at Walmarts. Trust me, you can't overlook or miss it.

Oh, that brings back memories of 2000-2004, when I could walk into almost any retail store in the U.S. (including Walgreens) and buy a Gundam action figure for about five bucks.

I think I got my grubby little hands on every Gundam action figure that came out during that time (I don't know how many, but I've got at least 30 or 40), and even tried my hand on a few model kits, but I totally suck at that.

I know it's a long shot, but man, I wish there was a new Gundam TV series with an accompanying toy line in the U.S/North America. Such a series likely would have to skew more younger rather older (somewhere between the Power Rangers and the new Beware The Batman series), but it could get Gundam toys back in local stores, IMO.

they should bring over Gundam Build Fighters. it looks to be skewed towards younger kids. i still think if they put Unicorn on Adult Swim and had some of the toys/models in stores Gundam would bounce back.

Yeah, that too.

If I want to see a brother seduce his sister I'll watch one of the new reality shows on the History Channel.
