Ru your wife is gorgeous!! I love the henna.

Cooleddie shark is the standard, cheapest fish cooked as fish and chips in Aus. It is quite sweet, lovely.

I was just going to say that at least you're wearing the right team's hat.

Glad you enjoyed your trip, MLB.
Thanks. The only reason I'm not wearing a Yankees or Mets cap is that neither of those teams were involved in any of the games I saw on that road trip. So, having learned my lesson from my less-than-stellar experience in Philly last year, I decided to go 'undercover'...then again, nobody ever gave me any shit for wearing a Diamondbacks cap in places like Anaheim, L.A., Oakland, SF, SD or Pittsburgh, so I guess I should just conclude that Phillies fans are nastier than the norm.

You can't see it in that pic but I am wearing a Minions T-shirt with the minion going "Whaaaaaa?" For some reason Dodger fans thought that was hilarious.

I'd like to get tsq and Randi together in the same room and just watch and listen. I imagine two lively New York girls interacting could be quite illuminating.
That might be dangerous. The world might self destruct from the awesomeness.

And we really need Randi back, like right NOW!

Dodger fans are known for being just a little odd. While you were there, didn't you find it just a bit odd when they left in the 7th inning?

Re: PICTURE POST II!

^ I didn't really notice that. The stadium was fairly crowded the whole game I was there. I didn't notice any mass exodus (even though the Dodgers lost the game).

The only such exodus that I did see was my first game in Pittsburgh, where the Pirates were having their asses handed to them by the Cardinals (PNC Park was sold out initially, but half the stadium emptied by the end of the game).

I recently went on a trip to Austria, Germany, and Switzerland with my family. I posted these (and more) on FB, but I thought I'd post a few here as well.

^Where in Austria and Germany?

I visited Germany (Around Munich/Bavaria) and Austria (Salzburg and along the German border) almost 20 years ago. Looks like the pictures you posted, except it was in the winter.

Thanks bbailey and Tom Hendricks.

If you can, you should totally do Sports Travel & Tours. That's how I got to Phoenix and four of the five CA ballparks (I went to Seattle, San Diego and Pittsburgh on my own). ST&T is really cool, they take care of pretty much everything for you and they get you there in plenty of time. And they give a full stadium tour when possible - that's how I got all those pics in LA and SF.
Excellent bit of advice. I have bookmarked this for future reference.

Vienna, then Munich, then on to Switzerland. Most of those pictures are from Switzerland, actually. Munich was a lot of fun and Vienna was stunning.

They also do city tours when they can. They gave us tours of L.A. and San Francisco on this trip I just took. The one in SF was my favorite - a 'duck tour' (it goes through the city as a car, then goes down into the water and takes you around the Bay).

I must confess, though, that I didn't care much for L.A. I definitely could not live there. Not just because of the traffic, which of course was brutal, I just didn't enjoy L.A. as a city (especially all that crap around Hollywood Boulevard - I could not get out of there fast enough). But Dodger Stadium was so awesome, it made it all worth it.

Love the new hair, tsq.
I can confirm that TSQ's hair looks even better in person. And that she's as lovely and smart and sweet in real life as she is here.

I can also confirm that The Seeker and his wife are also lovely, and that their little girl is so cute and adorable they're lucky I didn't sneak off with her.
Awwww, thanks!

It was fabulous meeting you, though I'm afraid we may have bored your poor girl to death!
Nah, she's used to me rambling on with friends, and she also knew it was part of the package deal that came with her 16th birthday present. Actually, my daughter and I have long, rambling talks like that as well. She's a great young woman, and I'm a lucky mom.

Got some much better shots of the blue moon tonight. Even got to watch the ISS fly over as I was taking the shots.
