I'm not sure who gets more tiring on these threads: Yoda, who thinks every woman is ugly or iguana tonante, who fancies himself the conscience in chief of the board.
Nah. I'm just a guy who calls it as he sees it.
Hey I'm calling it as I see it too! Besides, claiming that my down vote equates to calling someone ugly is silly. The poll isn't "Is this chick ugly YES/NO?" Not that I don't call any of these women ugly, but in general I'm pretty sure for the vast majority of Down votes I didn't and wouldn't call them ugly.

Well, at least you are making progresses.

Baby steps, I guess.

Lame, unsteady, crooked baby steps. But it's a start.

She's an occasional helper for the Scout Association, so just for that, I'll actually cast a vote.

I'm an ugly bastard with a normal income and a hot wife, so it IS possible for a hot woman to love an ugly bastard.

Kate is very pretty. So thumbs up.

And not only do she and William obviously love each other, they LIKE each other too!

In fact this may be the first royal relationship I'm aware of which was by choice, and not imposed upon them by the royal family in general. That is the impression I get, anyway. Other royals may have had their marriages pre-arranged (seems obvious Charles & Diana's was, anyway) but not this one!

She was "once a commoner like yourselves. But perhaps you will not find her common now." (Because anytime is a good time to quote from The Princess Bride.)

...I for one certainly find her anything but "common." UP!

I don't normally look at these threads, but I consider Kate to be the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen (YMMV). Up.

What I never got is why people consider Pippa more attractive....Taste is very relative.

I feel the same.

Apparently, you do possess a modicum of decency and self-awareness: you just choose to ignore it when you post here. Or something.
And if that were the case, would it be so wrong?

Sometimes a person's gotta have an escape from his/her everyday life, and even personality. If that someone feels it helpful to let loose and maybe bend the rules of propriety a bit in the semi-anonymity of the bbs, it certainly doesn't bother moi. As a general life philosophy, I try not to judge people unless I know them and their life circumstances really well - and even then, I assume I may be totally unaware of something of great, game-changing significance. I wouldn't for a moment take what anyone says on these threads in particular and use that as basis for evaluating their actual character.

Anyways, back on topic:

I don't care if she just gave birth to the next drain on the British taxpayer.
Aren't all babies drains on the British taxpayer?
Not as much as one guaranteed a palace, a title and eventually a crown just for having the right parents.

Kate's likeability has helped raise public support for the royals, which in turn has improved Britain's sense of national identity. I believe lack of national identity is a large factor in many of Britain's problems, so I take her as a positive inclusion in to the royal family and cultural zeitgeist.

In short, Kate's sexy body has helped save Britain.

But only Pippa's booty can make non British non fans of the Royals give a shit about the state of Britain.

Doesn't bother me, as Britain remains one of the greatest nations on the planet, and the royal family is an important link to its cultural heritage.

^But I live in THE greatest nation on the planet, and our founders weren't huge fans of royalty. I tend to side with them.
