Just a guess without looking:

Indiana Jones
Tony Soprano (longshot)
Superman
Batman
Iron Man is probably there even though he was a second banana until RDj took the role.

Roland from Dark Tower just to throw a bone to Steven King?

Wish they had pictured them in their iconic series uniforms instead of the TMP pajamas, but anyway, well done.

I wonder how close the Time list is to this one?

Not the picture of Kirk and Spock I'd have picked but good to see them on the cover.

I dunno, but if Bugs Bunny isn't on it over some of these guys, it's useless.

Teen girls went nuts over the Twilight movies as well.
Adult girls went nuts over it, too. Look up 'Twilight Moms".

I'd say Captain America should be on the list.

Cap's my favorite superhero, but I gotta say that's a stretch.

I could be incorrect, but I cannot recall spotting any Marvel Comics characters in the table of contents.

The popularity of Tony Soprano spawned a whole new class of character on television, the anti-hero. Vic Mackey, Tommy Gavin, Dexter Morgan, Walter Whyte, Don Draper..even Jonathan Archer had a dark side, of sorts. You would have never seen Kirk or Picard depressurizing an airlock with someone still inside of it, enemy or not.

I'm guessing that Superman (his name is on the cover) is there to represent all comic book super-heroes.

Teen girls go nuts for a lot of stuff, and what they go nuts for usually changes every other week. There's a difference between influential and trendy. While Katniss is definitely in the second category, she just hasn't been round long enough to demonstrate staying power to really be eligible for the first.

I think we all can agree she's on the cover to sell the magazine.

I think we can agree that this whole thing is just a silly ploy to sell magazines.

^^ I agree, to determine whether something is actually culturally relevant would require at least two or three decades and something that has become scarce - patience...
