http://money.cnn.com/video/pf/2013/0...-cave.cnnmoney

It's based on the bridge of the Enterprise 1701-D !

Surely the problem would not be so much getting into it, but out of it.

It's nice to hear from the homeowner. I saw pictures of it a few years ago and it is really an awesome home theater.

See now he has to have a wet bar that looks like Quark's to go along with the Enterprise-D bridge room!

I really love those themed home theatres. If you prefer a certain theme it definitely helps you to create a hyper-realistic sensation of actually being there!

This TNG home theatre is also featured in this article: http://screencrush.com/amazing-home-theaters/

Looks like the TNG one wasn't built by Dillon Works, but the Star Wars and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea one were.

Ohhhh, for a crowd I like the "Dark Knight" one, and for a more intimate group I love the "Titanic" version.

Which would be better - a two story bar like Quark's, or a Ten-Forward with windows overlooking the ocean or mountains?

Re: Now THIS is a home theater I could get into!

Very well done. I had a slightly different idea for a home theater:

Have a nearly full-replica TARDIS that opens up, on the second floor of the house, to a replica TARDIS control room from the most recent season, with lights and sounds. The hallways on the bottom lead to replica bridges of the Enterprises (TOS, WoK, 1701D, 1701E), and the top leads to the movie theater, which will have a replica ten forward overlooking the mountains. There will be a replica library with 2 floors and hundreds of books and memorabilia. Another room for a game room with an emulator that plays MAME replicated arcade games on a huge 120" wall screen, or switch input to the X-Box 360. Just first I need to win the lotto.

^^Oooohhh, my favorite game!

"What would I do if I won the lottery?"

Formal dining room that is a miniature version of the great hall from Hogwarts? Complete with floating candles.

Home theater that looks like the Dark Knight's domain. (See above)

My own planetarium that looks like Stellar Cartography from 1701D / ST : Generations. Hmmm. I bet that would double as a video game room, easily.

Hey guys... that "ultimate man cave" from my original post with the TNG bridge inspired movie theater is for sale. In fact it sounds like all his Star Trek toys are included.

http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/us/...-for-sale.wptv

Anyone want to loan me 35 million?

Ten Forward gets my vote.

Sorry, Quark.
