I am totally happy to risk the universe for this one.

The universe is doomed anyway, let's just have an awesome time while we help it along.

Re: River Song Day!

It's funny how the writers seem to pour more time in the Doctor's companions and allies rather than the Doctor himself. Also with River Song, while I don't hate her per se, I felt they spent too much time on River's story while I continued to wonder about the Silence's real motive and who really blew up the TARDIS (with the Silence as prime suspects).

But we know the Silence's real motives now.

We know a lot of the Silence's motives (as explained by the fat blue bald head in the box) though I'd like to know what that disembodied voice in the TARDIS belonged to before the TARDIS blew up. I'd like the Silence to come back more than the Weeping Angels and Daleks.

Yeah, I'd love the Silence to come back, especially now that the Doctor has been to Trenzalore, which is apparently the whole thing they were trying to prevent. What exactly are the consequences of that?

The Silence are pretty decent original foes from NuWho (alongside the Judoon, the Sycorax, Weeping Angels, Krillitines, and Ood).

Oh, well. Happy Detestable Smug Bitch Day then, everyone. I'll celebrate by putting on a curly wig and slapping men, because violence that's abhorrent is hilarious when the gender roles are reversed.

Are you addressing me? Personal comments are against the rules, and I think you ought to apologise for not keeping things polite and civil.

^ Said the guy who's referring to the character the thread was meant to celebrate as "detestable smug bitch."

Yes, what an excellent point you would have just made but for River Song being A) fictional and B) not a member of this forum.

Infraction for ignoring earlier moderator requirements to refrain from such crudeness. Comments to PM
