Deleted Scenes from "Evolution" - Video online at TrekCore

The first of a two-part release of new deleted scenes from "Evolution" - the TNG Season 3 premiere - is up at TrekCore now. There are so many scenes this time that the release is split into two articles!

Part 1: http://trekcore.com/blog/2013/05/exc...s3s-evolution/

These are somewhat more relevant than recent releases. I like it!

It doesn't surpirse me that Wes' friend is called Eric. Every other male child in TNG seems to be called Eric - here, in Liaisons and Worf and Deanna's Parallels' son Eric Christoper (and I suspect there is yet another somewhere).

And this Eric is Scott Grimes (of "ER" fame) - I never knew he was on TNG. But how could I seeing that his scenes were cut? Very interesting! Makes you wonder how much more stuff is hidden somewhere that we'll maybe get to see one day.

Who the hell decided that putting day-glo outfits like this on human beings was a good idea?

Funny, his name didn't trigger any memory for me, but when I saw him I instantly recognized his face... and couldn't place him. Definitely "ER" and also the "Band of Brothers" HBO series. Pretty wild how some people's faces don't change much from adolescence into adulthood, while others look like nearly completely different people.

I haven't gotten around to looking at my Season 3 Blu-Ray set yet. Are these deleted scenes from the Season 3 set or is it a Trek Core exclusive?

It's a TC exclusive. All the scenes we've got for Season 2 and 3 will only be available on the site, because CBS already sent S1-S3 back into deep storage and they are unlikely to be on future Blu-ray sets.
