Not sure if legit or not...

http://amymarie97.tumblr.com/post/52...episode-forces

A plane on route to the San Francisco International Airport tonight had to make an emergency landing when passengers watching pirated versions of the HBO series Game of Thrones began hyperventilating, screaming hysterically, and violently damaging their tray tables. The situation turned more volatile when an airline stewardess unintentionally spoiled the ending of the episode for the captain, after which he stormed out of the cockpit shouting obscenities, forcing his co-pilot to land the plane on his own.
“I’ve never seen something like this before,” said one passenger on the flight. She was sitting next to one of the victims. “One minute, the guy next to me is just watching a show on his laptop, then all of the sudden, he starts shouting ‘No way! No F**king way!’” According to the witness, the man then slammed his laptop shut and violently kicked the chair in front of him. “He just wouldn’t stop screaming. He wouldn’t stop shouting cuss words.”
Of course it's not legit. That was the fakest fake story ever. It might as well have been right out of a second rate knockoff of The Onion. There's not even a link or a source cited, and that's just once you get beyond the ridiculousness of the story itself.

Looking at the tumblr page, it's not even intended to be taken seriously - it's simply a funny response to a tweet.

Interesting how they adjust the main credits from episode to episode. Since Peter Dinklage was not in this episode his name was not the opening credits and Emily Clarke was the top credit this episode. Most shows always list the same credits in the opening whether the actor is in the episode or not.

^^^ I noticed that too. I suspect that, due to the unusually large cast this series has, the producers procured a side-agreement with SAG to limit the credits to only those who actually have roles in a given episode. That would be my guess, anyway.

Both Edmure and the Black Fish were off-screen when the massacre happened, so they are theoretically still around. The Starks may be largely decimated, but the Tullys are still in play.
Exactly. Whatever happened to Blackfish? Did he know?
Well...that enters into the realm of book-based spoilers and people seem to not like that in these parts, even if it is in hidden spoiler code. Suffice it to say...

I have witness some of the reactions to Robb and Catelyn's deaths and I am beginning to ask myself if I am normal or not. I have never been anywhere near close to getting as upset as some people do about a fictional character's death
Well, I can't claim to be normal, but I feel the same way as you do. I can't be nearly as sad or emotional as some of these people get, especially since these characters really weren't exactly favorites. I found their deaths unsettling and surprising, and perhaps somewhat impactful, but not worth getting in a frenzy about.

Too much book discussion in the thread which is why I avoid these.

Just want to say FUCK to what I just watched and wonder why I should keep watching after that.

Because as shocking as it was, none of the people killed are in actuality the main characters and the desire to see how everything plays out in the end.

Awful lot of killing just because Robb Stark did not marry one of Lord Frey's daughters.

It was a way for Tywin Lannister to defeat an enemy in an unexpected way while bringing two houses to his side without fighting a traditional battle or indeed getting up off his arse.

I hope the "True Love" marriage was worth it for Robb.

The Freys have long resented the Tullys, and Walder is old enough to have plenty of personal grudges of his own. This was really just the straw that broke the camel's back.
