I wonder if Bele and Lokai should have been given Cheronian hair. As it was played, the actors stuck with their own actual haircuts.
Wouldn't that make their actual hair Cheronian hair?

Random observations:

Majel never looked good as a blonde, but as a brunette she was beautiful. It fit her face so much better.

Jimmy Doohan's 3rd season hair, the combed back style he hated, was a lot like how he kept his hair on other shows. Even some "off screen" shots of him at the time has it brushed back. I've only seen it parted to the side on Star Trek and a lot of the time it looked kind of crappy. Until the second season, at any rate. He looked good then.

Welcome BulahLarry! You're new, so just FYI, the Moderators here prefer people to start new topics rather than posting in ones that have been inactive for 6 months or more.

. . . Shatner looked way better wi short hair imho, but 1969 was not 1965. Just considered the likely hairstyle bullet we dodged that was Phase II.
Just think, we could have had Capt. James T. Hooker.

Is it just me, or did Shatner seem to age quite a bit between seasons two and three?

James Bond was bigger then than we can really imagine now, because we have so many outlets for enthusiasm today that nothing can get beyond a certain size. But in 1966, Bond was a global entertainment mania.
The fact that they're still making Bond films today is testament to how huge Bond was then.

He did seem to get a bit huskier which I think might have made him look a bit older.

It's funny back when each movie was being released you could hear remarks on how the cast were so obviously aging. Now when you look back they look younger than we remembered, particularly in the first few films.

GR put a blond wig on Majel and slipped her back into the show, but as I understand it the NBC execs noticed her right off. This time around they seem to let it pass possibly because she wasn't a major character anymore.

His marriage was falling apart around that time, so he undoubtedly was under a lot of stress.

funny in that altered pic he looks pretty much like he did in the films / Hooker. Funny what hair style does.

maybe if hed had TOS type hair in the films hed have looked alot more like he did back in the 60s in the films (esp the first couple of films)
