£24.95? That can't be right! Better grab it quick before someone notices.

Got mine on order with Sainsbury's. Last few BDs I've bought from them have turned up on release day. Even if it's a few days later I'm not overly concerned. Not like I'm going to get the chance to start watching this as soon as it arrives anyway.

Still, great price from both of them.

So these UK discs will play on US equipment?

All the Blu-rays released so far have been region-free sets.

The Enterprise season 2 pre-order has now mysteriously vanished from Amazon UK. Anyone know what's going on?

Interesting. I've just checked my order status, and it's still valid. I really hope Amazon don't renege on this deal - wriggling out of it by claiming a pricing error or some such lame excuse. I've seen other sites do similar.

We contacted Amazon and they state that they exhausted their pre-order stock due to huge demand and that they're in touch with the distributor to resolve it. We were reassured orders will be fulfilled. :)

Phew! It seems this offer isn't too good to be true then! :techman:

Not a huge surprise... I don't think it's even listed on Amazon.com yet.

I'm nearing the end of season 1 and just sat through Rogue Planet and Acquisition. I'm noticing a lot of print damage on these episodes. There are several instances of (quite) noticable scratches, speckles and what looked like a hair. Anyone else notice it?

Yes. I'm not certain where but I noticed it too. Also I remember something about Desert Crossing not looking right ... I have to take out my blu-ray to confirm it :) (not now)

So they won't be going with the cast lazily standing around season 2 original cover?

I think that was always a placeholder design so they could put it into the S2 trailer. This design looks much more polished and professional.

Nice cover - including all the primary cast members to boot! Wonder if it'll be embossed a la season 1?

The cover's got a little too much blue on it but otherwise I like it.

Deinterlacing isn't what causes the soap-opera effect.

    22 pounds!

Even for the worst season of Star Trek, that's a very good price.
