Re: The STXI Enterprise... REFIT!

Could we have an Endeavor variant with the Challenger deflector please (colored blue)? How about we call it USS Discovery: NCC-1998.

Hey MadMan1701A!

Wow! I cannot stop drooling over your USS Endeavour (as others have attested here!).

It's one beautiful starship - I sooooooo want an actual model of this (and wish Diamond Select Toys would peruse this thread, and decide to make one).

Well done!

The question is, do they land the ship to do the refit on the ground?

Thanks for posting that, that's actually really cool!

I'll have to find the issue.

Yeah, this has happened several times before. I know one artist complained and got a stack of free comics from them so....thats something, I guess :/

This is a hack job on so many levels. a) IDW doesn't get references from Paramount/Bad Robot so they have to google them? What kind of contract is that? b) the "artist" googled the image and just slapped a couple of filters on it. c) it's not even an official image (quality of the artwork notwithstanding)

Well, it's kind of flattering, that they picked my image to steal from, I think.

What I do think is weird though, is why that image? The Enterprise definitely shouldn't look like that, in the comic.

Anyone else have the issue, that can post any other frames with the Enterprise in it?

Thanks. If you go back in the thread, you'll find the completed images of Endeavor and Challenger.

Yep, you would think they would have a ton of official renders to manipulate, if they needed to.

Thanks. That's cool, I know a bunch of guys that worked there in the past, and moved back here when they retired. I like it here, even though it's starting to get a little crowded.

My biggest problem with the NuE was that the design was unbalanced- your changes may it look so much better!
