I really enjoyed the movie and the soundtrack was once again great, but I can't seem to find any listings or release date?!

Re: Soundtrack

I was humming the theme all the way back home although it did turn into the theme from 'Lost in Space' for some reason. But that's just me

Amazon.de says it comes out on May 24th.
Yeah, I guess it depends where you buy it from. Some may have it sooner.

Btw, Amazon UK says: Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.

Just a couple of days ago it was scheduled to come out May 14th. I wonder why they delayed it.

It's out on iTunes btw, I don't think any of the track names are particularly spoilerish.

A friend of mine sent me the track "Sub-Prime Directive," and it is probably the best one!

Re: Soundtrack

Yeah, I love it and the scene it goes with. By far my favourite scene in the whole movie.

I think I'm getting to be less of a fan of Giacchino's style as time goes on, and I'm not a fan of the way he does the Star Trek theme. However the score wasn't bad overall.

I'm listening to it right now and it's less of a repeat of the ST09 soundtrack than I thought it was when I watched the movie. I love "London Calling". That was a very strong sequence in the film.

Agreed... Can't stop listening to it.. Other than the main Star Trek Abrams theme, I think London Calling is the most memorable one from the movie... It can be heard again during the credits as well..
