In Praise of TOS-TAS Imagery (Peeps)

A lot of my recent Trek art has been ships... in part because they's so quick! But I enjoy doing Trek character art, too. Here's a smattering of my TOS-TAS era character art:

>>A<< Romulan Commander, not >THE< Romulan Commander...

My version of Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln.

How Trek skirts looked when I was a testorone-choked teen

I started populating the primary crew members of the Constitution.... but I didn't get too far. This is one of the treatments.

The crew of the Constitution confers with one of their cetacean ops survey team.

Yeoman blonde cutie...

What if Sasha Grey had done REAL TREK instead of a porn version??

Waiting for the replicator to pop out a clean uniform....

Meeting with the admiralty at a starbase.

Those are excellent, but do you ever do hand-drawn art anymore? I've always loved your clean lines and style.

Not really. Or maybe, more accurately, not much. Digital art is so much cleaner and easier for me. So even when I do stuff that's "lineart", I'm doing it digitally, like:

Some fantastic stuff here. Lots of skirts short enough to get the wearer arrested, and more than one grumpy looking Andorian.

I've seen much of your work on Deviantart.

Your reputation precedes you.
