Rebecca Hall: Babe of the Week #19 (May 2013)

Rebecca Hall
(Iron Man 3, The Town, The Prestige)
Thumbs up= Thumbs down= Thumbs sideways=

Rebecca Hall was born in London to Sir Peter Hall, the founder of the Royal Shakespeare Company and artistic director of the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne, and opera star Maria Ewing. She broke into filmed entertainment before her 12th birthday with roles in a series of made-for-television British productions including the miniseries "The Camomile Lawn" (1992) and the feature Don't Leave Me This Way (1993). Hall subsequently took a more than ten-year departure from the screen, then returned in a big way in the late 2000s with a series of roles in features including Christopher Nolan's period psychological thriller The Prestige (2006), Tom Vaughan's romantic comedy Starter for 10 (2007), Woody Allen's romantic comedy Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) and the Red Riding trilogy (2009).
Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suitor does the suit make the man?

One of the first times where I've actually been able to guess who the next BOTW is gonna be.

Anyway up; good looking, wonderful voice, and a v good actress into the bargain.

I keep having to look her up imdb everytime I see her in a new movie.

Beautiful but forgettable.

I find her attractive in a slightly unconventional way. And she's five feet, nine inches. I like tall women. Thumbs up.

Very attractive, and it was nice seeing her in Iron Man 3.

Funny, I don't remember her from The Prestige.

I used to get her confused with Lynn Collins and vice versa whenever one of them would pop up onscreen.

Very gorgeous. She caught my eye when she starred in "The Prestige"

From the "Iron Man 3" clips she makes some cute facial expressions.

I gotta stop looking at these threads, I'm more than twice her age and they might give me a heart attack. Though physically, she's only my type for being a female and brunette. But I can't afford to be particular these days.

Cute. Kind of like a brunette Gweneth Paltrow, but with some meat on her bones and actual breasts. Plus, a scion of theatre royalty. Thumbs up!

UP

She was great in The Town, has real range as an actress.
Too bad she has a wound on her forehead for half the film in IM3 though. I found that distracting in the close ups.
