I agree. What did you think "politician" and "lieutenant" referred to?

Thank you. Isn't Mac Taylor a Lt or just a detective though?

Yeah, "politician" should have tipped me off. Besides I was preoccupied with Apollo 13. It'd be funny if he said "Damn it, Jim. I'm a doctor not an astronaut"....
