Promotion for BBC1 Controller, and possible week off?

The BBC1 Controller, Danny Cohen, has been promoted to Director of Television. That means a new controller, but also could have a (positive) impact on Who, if the rumours that Cohen was unhappy about Cardiff's inability to produce a reliable 13 episode run, and that he'd support transferring it to another department that could (like Worldwide) have any truth in them.
And... a Labour MP whose constituency team is playing in the FA Cup Final on May 11th has been complaining about the late, 5.30pm, kick-off, as it means his constituents will have trouble getting home by rail after the match.
The problem for us is that that's the day Nightmare in Silver ought to go out. 5.30 + 90 minutes of play + half time + presentations and inane post-match natter from the commentators adds up to about 7.45, without extra time. That's a bit late for Who... I wouldn't be surprised to find it gets knocked back a week. :-(

So does that mean Cohen now has more chance of getting Who switched to another production arm?

The FA cup is on ITV this year I believe so this shouldn't impact Who (well maybe in the ratings)
