The Cleveland show is cancelled

http://tvline.com/2013/04/17/the-cle...cancelled-fox/

I'm surprised it lasted this long.

I was never in love with the show but it did improve with age. That would be nice if Cleveland moved back to Family Guy then and his family appeared occasionally.

It's funny, but I grudgingly slouch towards the funny.

I enjoyed David Lynch being on it from time to time.

Good.

When Family Guy first came out I absolutely loved it, and I was pissed at Fox for never promoting it and airing it without telling anybody in like six episode runs every nine months.

When it was uncanceled I was excited as hell.

Then it turned out the show forgot why it was funny in the first place and turned every character that was originally good into something obnoxiously stupid and dickish.

Then it ran for several more years and spawned two awful spinoffs that were just as obnoxiously cheesy, stupid and dickish but without any funny characters.

Seth McFarlane is a proud purveyor of the comedy formula: If 60 year old Christians would hate it, it's automatically funny, even if you don't tell an actual joke.

What is the word on McFarlane's Flintstones remake? Is it possible Fox is just axing Cleveland to make room for that? In which case, we're just replacing Black Family Guy with Caveman Family Guy.

That would be OK. It's not like Loretta appeared that many times.

Would Rollo be a friend for Stewie, or another enemy?

I hope its gone. I can count on one hand the number of jokes I ever found funny from that show. Family Guy has been pretty inconsistent for awhile, but it can still pull off a good episode. Cleveland Show just sucked.

The last couple of years the writing has gone downhill.
You can tell the cast is sitting around smoking all day...
