Larson Suing Universal Over Profit Participation...

This is a lengthy article at The Hollywood Reporter, and I won't try to summarize it - basically, Larson's convinced the studio owes him a lot of money for things like BSG and Knight Rider.

Inside Universal's Ugly Battle with the Creator of 'Knight Rider' and 'Battlestar Galactica'

My attention was caught by the first comment on the article, though:

I am sympathetic to both sides. I am a long-time admirer of Larson, and truly believe that Universal Studios is the best in the business. I sincerely hope that this matter is resolved speedily and to the satisfaction of both parties. I dread the thought of a protracted legal dispute jeopardizing a potential Battlestar Galactica film courtesy of brilliant Sci-Fi/Fantasy director, Bryan Singer. Ever since Ronald D. Moore's epic Battlestar series wrapped, I've been in serious withdrawal. :-) Best wishes to all!

Langy's going to have a conniption if he sees that.
