Americans, fill me in the first ten mins of the episode

Hey, I missed the first ten minutes of the episode. I was going to go into the main discussion thread, but the timezone thing. What did I miss?

The Doctor is staying at a monastery in Cumbria 1207 AD meditating on who Clara is, Clara is in modern London having trouble connecting to the Internet. She uses a number she got at a shop from some woman which connects her to the Tardis phone. The Doctor heads to London to investigate.
