So far, every Earth 2 character has a connection to the Golden Age or the Silver Age Earth 2.

I know, but I figure that on this world in which Bruce and Selina got together and there is no Batman anymore, who else would take over the cowl but John Blake?

Might be Charles McNider or Pieter Cross. Looks like his mask has lenses and he's shooting blackout bombs from his gun.
That's probably a good guess, especially given his color scheme. Fits nicely with the idea of bats being blind as well.

Because John Blake has no connection to the Golden Age heroes.

Dick Grayson
Charles McNider
Pieter Cross
Charlie Bullock

Not sure what you mean. I enjoy Earth 2 very much. It's one of the books I look forward to the most each month. I also enjoyed the character of John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises. But the character of Blake does not fit in with the premise of Earth 2.

I wouldn't put it past Didio to somehow insert John Blake into the 52'Verse.

Gotham PD could use a new face. Harvey Bullock can't work every case.

It's less that and more how the writer and the fictional universe he constructed works. James Robinson isn't going to put an original movie character in the book. Maybe if it was a book by Goyer or an adaptation of Arrow, this might happen. But the stuff Robinson does is thoroughly steeped the mythology of the DCU comics that what you are saying isn't conceivable.

I think it's more likely that John Blake is going to be revealed as Tim Drake's real name.

^ This is what I've been thinking since we learned that "Tim Drake" isn't even his real name any more.

From Blake to Drake? I thought Batman was more clever than that.
