Anyone could have thought it up or agreed wholeheartedly to it. The fact that you specifically brought up Ron Moore simply to bad-mouth him, shows that you have an unsubstantiated beef with him which has nothing to do with this topic.

Men don't like twins.

We outright hate children, but an orgasm inside a vagina makes up for that in part.

It's the math.

Two children from one orgasm, means that the existence each of those bastards is only half as justified as they think it is. The gap in perceived value is not only going to be reflected in shitty Christmas presents, but year round across the board cuts with stapling generic brand breakfast serials, boot leg sneakers and a massive deficiency in hugs and name brand hair products.

Tripplets, and worse are just asking to be wound up.

I want whatever you're smoking.

The point of this post is that not everybody agrees with it and thinks he just pulled it out of his ass like recently too.
I think it would have been great if developed right, but that's 20/20 hindsight.

Re: Braga: "Archer was supposed to be Future Guy"

Do you suppose Braga is kicking himself he didn't think this up in Season 1?

Imagine if WE knew all along and so did Daniels but not the NX-01 crew. Would have made Archer a lot more interesting, something to actually nut out. How did Mr. Water Polo end up there?!

You really don't pay attention.

Mr. Scot lost his doggy.

A litre of red matter later, and John has up ended the universe to add a couple months to the life expectancy of a creature that barely only lives for just 9 years.

(Something Kathryn Janeway did almost every week for three years.)

Neelix didn't mind when she marked her territory.

Neelix covered Tom in his sauce and then they were even.

Have you guys seen Brannon Braga's recent Enterprise tweet here:

@BrannonBraga wrote:
For those wondering, Archer as Future Guy was always the idea.Trying to repair a corrupt future by influencing his innocent past self.
Do you think he is serious? Or is he just messing with the fans? Certainly sounds like a valid idea, though, don't you think? Well, it certainly would have been better than nothing.
Wouldn't surprise me. And then we'd have had another "B5 vs Trek" blood bath wherein folks would scream he *lifted* that from Cmdr. Sinclair's arc in Babyloony 5. So thank God for small favors in averting that from happening.

Re: Braga: "Archer was supposed to be Future Guy"

But now you've said it, so it's happened.

I'll start the rejection of your accusations of murderous plagiarism ball rolling..

Comparing Future Guy to the Prophet Valen is SO unfair! Future Guy is just some jerk, probably someone's puppet. Archer as Future Guy is a tragedy that season 5 must redeem Archer from. Something has gone wrong and has to be fixed.

Sinclair's story is one of destiny blah blah..

To which the classic counter would simply be:

Well, Braga was obviously reversing the polarity of the standard neo-classical trapezoidal dramatic paradigm. Blah, blah, blah ...

That, I believe, is check-and-mate.
