Sweet mother of Jesus. Best trailer yet, totally gave me chills.
I evoked Mary, too, but my reaction was, "Jesus, Mary, and Joesph!" Stunning. My mouth was agape all through it.

So much for getting any work done for the next hour or two or three. Time to play.

The whole Eve thing is really sad. What were they thinking?

If she has sex with Kirk in this at least I hope it happens with the lights out, under the sheets, in the missionary position and for the sole purpose of procreation.
Sex? In Star Trek???

IVF or GTFO.

The shot of Eve half naked was stupid and totally out of place.
Right, because half-naked/scantily clad women and Star Trek have never crossed paths before...

Scandalous!

See, this is why I became a fan. In 1973 a teen couldn't just go to the Internet any time he wanted for such things. You took it where you could find it. God bless the soul of William Theiss.

IVF. That's how Harisson was made.
And he's now back to destroy all those filthy Federation leaders who engage in shameless bodily fluid exchange shenanigans.

At least they gave Alice Eve some honest-to-goodness sexy undies instead of those godawful granny-panties Uhura wore in the last movie.

That was a pretty kickass trailer. Like others, I was kind of hoping for more of an exploration story this time around, with the crew encountering some new alien threat in the far reaches of space.... but I have to admit, this still looks pretty damn entertaining.

I just don't understand those who are so dead-set against Trek being just a fun, thrill-packed action movie. Think of it as an "Elseworlds Trek" if you need to, but surely if there's room in there for 11 seasons worth of dull and generic VOY and ENT, there's room in there for this.

And nothing about the Klingons. Do they have significance in history? I wanted to see in this trailer a battle scene with Klingon ship

They're probably saving that for the movie. That said, they could just show and mention Klingons, but that might confuse people since they've been focusing on Cumberbatch's character.

Still doesn't look like the Enterprise hitting the water, now that we have a better view.
Yeah, and just as it clips Alactraz, you can see a bit of a working blue deflector dish. In another teaser, the heavily damaged Enterprise is seen in space with a non-functional deflector that has damage and a large chunk missing from it.

I hate to admit this but I am starting to see the sexism a lot of people on trekmovie.com have been complaining about.

Alice Eve in her bra and panties was the worst part of the trailer. Its like it was just put there for the sake of making guys horny and for the sake of having a woman get nearly naked.

And what’s with the pose?

For a split second I thought I was watching a model about to step on the fashion
Catwalk (modelling lingerie) instead of a science fiction trailer.

In 2009, I brushed off the people who called Uhura a sexist character after she stripped down to her bra and panties but now that I see another woman doing the same thing, I am beginning to see a pattern here.

Nu Trek does objectify women.

Just noticed: They fixed the UK flags! They fixed the UK flags! Look closely. They fixed the UK flags! Compare the Super Bowl ad shot of the flags to the one in this trailer.

The one thing you choose to complain about is a gorgeous woman in her underwear?

That's hilarious. Well done, sport. I guess we can add virgin to the list.

Sorry. I missed it. I was *ahem* paying attention to other screenshots on that page.
