The way it was edited it looks like Cucumberpatch is the one in the shuttle blasting the Starfleet Command HQ meeting room, but it looks to be the Klingon 'Bird of Prey' mini-shuttles as seen in the Kre-O sets?

Kirk is going to spend barely any time in command on the bridge of his ship in this one, is he? Seems like the story has him going rouge very early in.
The lettering on the window of that shuttle is from the Roman alphabet and the numerals look pretty earth-like to me. Not a Klingon shuttle.

I hate to admit this but I am starting to see the sexism a lot of people on trekmovie.com have been complaining about.

Alice Eve in her bra and panties was the worst part of the trailer. Its like it was just put there for the sake of making guys horny and for the sake of having a woman get nearly naked.

And what’s with the pose?

For a split second I thought I was watching a model about to step on the fashion
Catwalk (modelling lingerie) instead of a science fiction trailer.

In 2009, I brushed off the people who called Uhura a sexist character after she stripped down to her bra and panties but now that I see another woman doing the same thing, I am beginning to see a pattern here.

Nu Trek does objectify women.
A major blockbuster motion picture is using sex to sell itself? Say it ain't so.

Just look at the publicity photos used to advertise TOS.

This...

... wasn't sexy enough, so they went for this:

More Alice Eve, wearing less. Please.

It's not Section 31.

It's already been established that Cumberbatch is the one flying that ship and carrying out the "assassination" on the meeting (from the preview screening a few weeks ago).

I like how Cumberbatch, for all his self-proclaimed superiority, can't kill everyone in a room while having a ship with rapidly firing energy guns.

The shot of Eve half naked was stupid and totally out of place.

There was some talk a few weeks ago about the flags. I noticed they seem to have fixed it, they're not upside down anymore.

I didn't see a shot of her naked.

I saw one of her in underwear, but not naked.

I sort of agree it was gratuitous and out of place and was there for pure titillation. Which, yeah, Trek is hardly above but plenty of people complained about Seven's body suit and the de-con room scenes for being gratuitous. All bit different than a woman simply looking good in an outfit (Helen Noel.)

Right, because half-naked/scantily clad women and Star Trek have never crossed paths before...

Scandalous!

Re: New trekID international trailer wed

The whole Eve thing is really sad. What were they thinking?

If she has sex with Kirk in this at least I hope it happens with the lights out, under the sheets, in the missionary position and for the sole purpose of procreation.

Yeah, let's do something more cultured and refined, and go visit an art museum:
