I don't have any clips, but it's fun to see Ian Wolfe (Septimus and Mr. Atoz) in WKRP in Cincinnati, as Mama Carlson's butler, Hirsch. He has a deadpan comedic delivery, plus great jabbing lines, that help him steal almost every scene he's in.
Or John Hoyt (Dr Boyce) in many episodes of HOGAN'S HEROES - almost always as a Nazi general.

And speaking of The Cage, There are a couple of episodes of the the 60's version of DRAGNET where Peter (Jose Tyler) Duryea shows up.

Then there's the classic HAZEL with James Doohan...and the BEWITCHED hes in also.

I was glad to see in an episode of Kung Fu, that Kirk and Elaan had used the Guardian of Forever to find a home in the old west:

... or (in a Mission: impossible) in the 1970s with Lenore:

She was in HOGAN'S HEROES a lot also - sometimes as the Underground operative 'Tiger' - grrr

Quite a few bit players spent a lot of time in the mid to late 60's at the various Desilu sites.

Re: Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

I think everyone is aware of TOS stars/guest stars on The Twilight Zone, but a few ended up on Serling's final series, Night Gallery:

William (Matt Decker) Windom: "They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar" & "Little Girl Lost"

Glenn (Cochrane) Corbett: "Brenda"

Lou (Lokai) Antonio: "Death on a Barge," which was directed by Nimoy.

Leonard (some Vulcan, maybe Stonn...T'Pol?) Nimoy: "She'll Be Company for You" co-starring Kathryn (Gem / "The Empath") Hays.

Jeff (Plasus) Corey: "The Dead Man"

Barbara (Lenore) Anderson: "Fright Night"

Susan (Vina) Oliver: "The Tune in Dan's Cafe"

Gary (Gary Mitchell) Lockwood: "The Ring with the Red Velvet Ropes"

*Charles (Landru / Jaris) Macaulay: "The Funeral"

*Barry (Surak) Atwater: "The Doll of Death"

Louise (Rayna) Sorel: "Pickman's Model" & "The Dead Man"

I'm sure there's more TOS guest stars on NG, but I cannot recall any at the moment.

*vampire trivia:

Macaulay portrayed a very undead "Count" in the Night Gallery episode, and Dracula in Blacula, which starred William (Daystrom) Marshall.

Atwater's best known role was a vampire--Janos Skorzeny in The Night Stalker TV movie.

True story: My youngest brother is currently introducing my nieces to TOS. When they watched "Wolf in the Fold," they immediately recognized Redjac as the voice of Piglet in the Winnie-the-Pooh cartoons! I'm told much hilarity ensued . . . .

At first I thought the top photo must be from THE BARBARY COAST, and the bottom one must be Meredith Baxter (BRIDGET LOVES BERNIE, FAMILY TIES).

But no, you were right.

The Andromeda Strain has a nice little bunch of TOS guest stars.

From http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Bart_LaRue:
LaRue also made an uncredited appearance in the movie The Andromeda Strain, which was directed by Robert Wise and photographed by Richard H. Kline. It also featured fellow TOS guest actors Kermit Murdock, Garry Walberg, Michael Pataki and Walker Edmiston.

Yup, that is Barbara Anderson with Shatner in Mission: Impossible's 1972 episode "Cocaine." Anderson was in seven early 7th-season episodes as recurring IMF team member Mimi, filling in for Lynda Day George, who was on maternity leave.

Let's not forget that Ricardo Montalban played the suave villain in the original WONDER WOMAN tv pilot starring Cathy Lee Crosby.
