Yesterday, I read over 200 papers about how the Lionfish could or could not fit into commercial fishing.
What's the consensus?

IMO A Storm of Swords is the best of the books in the series that Martin has so far written.

Re: What are you reading?

Was dusting off the bookcase yesterday. I picked up David Gerrold's "The Trouble with Tribbles" - the story of how he conceived and sold the story. Wasn't really intending on reading it - but I got into it. It's been so long since I picked this up and I am finding it as good a read as I remember - or rather as good a read as I forget, because I don't remember a lot of what's in it.

Actually, I'm listening to the book on tape in the car. Don't spoil it for me.

Re: What are you reading?

^^^ Between Old Yeller, Marley and Me, and the North Dakota DOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, I don't know which ending left me tears more. Damn you for bringing that up.

Right now my fiction book is The Wrecker by Clive Cussler, and for non-fiction it's Pat Summit's autobiography.

No consensus. The test is to determine whether they can summarize, in English, both a written article and audio-only lecture, and describe how the two arguments differ--to describe the arguments given both for and against the given topic. So, yeah, thrilling reading.
