"Wizard of..." Homages in OTGAP? (Spoilers)
Not so much a review thread, but I just saw Oz the Great and Powerful, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked looking for and finding little touches that were put in to pay respects to the original Judy Garland classic. I know I didn't catch nearly all of them. What were some of the references to the original flick that you caught or heard about? For me, the road sign to the Dark Forest struck me as a subtle homage. I also got a kick out of how Oz's former girlfriend ended up being Dorothy's mother.
