Robot Warriors!

Not

The BBC aren't often given to hyperbole but this heading is definitely one of them.

What the article is about is the development of ground drones on a slightly less grand scale than the existing airborne ones, but nothing daunted, they managed to get
from here it is not such a jump to a fully-fledged armed robot warrior
then go on to describe something that looks like a cake stand.

Re: Robot Warriors!

There are already robotic warriors that make some decisions on their own and they are armed.

The next generation of autonomous drones are already here too:

There are already double the number of traditional armed drones than there are F22s.

Re: Robot Warriors!

The BBC had their own fighting force of robotic warriors which they stupidly decided to get rid of:

Wheel forward Sgt Bash, Shunt, Matilda, Dead Metal and Sir Killalot, come back from your hiding place to save us all!

That itself (with Mr. Red Dwarf himself) took over for the Comedy Central program where we first saw the Mythbusters on TV.

Son of Wyachi probably would knock the legs out from under those ponderous Real Steel type humanoid robots: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQFYzyrfrP0

Long live Vlad the Impaler.

Oh I remember that show. It was compulsory viewing round our way. Utterly brilliant.
