Nice! I love the Feddie D-7... looks like it's wearing a sombrero. I expect it's about to start yelling "Ariba!" and have brightly colored tissue paper streamers. Makes me want to find some tortilla chips and a good spicy salsa!

So would it have blue warp nacelles and a Shatner Pez dispenser?

So where is the ship with that hot nacelle in the first post?

I have no explanation. It's probably best not to ask anyways.
The shit you make when....
FED D7 design and model by me (Greg Stitz).
Also if you know the original artist of the background starfield let me know.

More work, including some adjustments to the design and work on the underside.

I don't know what I'm keying off of visually, but this looks like a nice mix of both old and new Trek. I like it!

Your Fed-klink combo even as a joke would look to be of better quality than what we got in last years Hallmark offering. Hope they try harder with Kelvin. They put more work into their Star Wars ornaments..grumble

Hit a minor setback with a corrupted file, but it's a good thing I like to save multiple files at various stages. Only had to redo a little bit of the work.

Re: Greg's Trek Ships and Things

Columbus is almost done at this point. Just a few minor details. The Azaerel and Aquilia are done, although they need a proper registry on them. The Clark needs most of her work done on the sphere area.

A little humor I discovered while I was working on the Columbus.

Re: Greg's Trek Ships and Things

Working on the TOS-Era refit of the Columbus.
-Deflector 25% smaller
-Swept back pylons
-Impulse engine where it is located on the Constituion
-Laser banks upgraded to the more powerful Phaser banks
-Fission (fusion?) torpedoes upgraded to Photon torpedoes
-Other minor differences
Undecided if this ship would see a TMP refit. Also did a size check and the Constitution is 2.5x bigger than the Columbus.
